J+B was contracted to provide Architectural and Engineering design for a four story Multi unit residential building with four commercial units located on the main floor. J+B supplied full design services for the building; Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Civil and electrical. J+B provided the Professional of Record “C” schedule and all other documents required to obtain Development and Building Permits. To save costs ground floor parking was utilized, no underground parking garage and wood was used for the structural components. Mechanical and electrical design utilized modern energy efficient building components to lower building operation and maintenance costs. Our civil designers incorporated an existing drainage system on the property into the new building storm water design to lower construction costs. The civil people also repurposed an existing parking lot into the new design again to control construction costs.The project obtained a Development Permit, but unfortunately our clients project funding didn’t come through and the project was never built.
