This project was completed in 2012 and included complete replacements of the entire Air Handling Units (HVAC) Control Systems at Frontanac Institution Buildings in Kingston, Ontario. The scope of work included complete replacement of the existing pneumatic air handling control systems with new Johnson Controls based remotely controlled PLC based controls systems and HVAC equipment actuators replacement and HVAC sensors.

NOTE: Frontanac Institution HVAC control system was integrated to existing remote control HVAC system for Public Works and Government Service Canada buildings in local area.

J+B involvement in this project started with the preliminary design stage and followed through all phases of planning, design, budgeting, construction and deficiency follow up. Services provided by J+B included: project management, site engineering and existing control systems assessment reviews and reports, control systems design and implementation, planning and budgeting, construction inspections, health and safety orientation and management, administration for project documentation and contractor support.
