At South Gate Centre in Calgary we divided a clothing store into two CRU’s, the project included a new demising wall, a fire separated wall along with new HVAC and electrical design/ panels/ fire system for both new units. J+B handled the permitting submitting the Development Permit for the required new entrances then following up with submitting the landlord Building Permit all to RioCan’s specifications. We’ve also provided landlord upgrade to a CRU at Parkwood Place in Prince George BC – J+B were responsible for the M.E.P. (Mechanical HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing) and structural design was also provided for the new RTU. We provided the HVAC curb design which required re-enforcing the roof joists at the property.
At the Gateway Power Centre in Grand Prairie AB we’re providing design and permitting for a new store entrance for a future RioCan tenant, along with structural consulting for a deteriorating slab across multiple CRU’s.
