J+B were contracted by The City of Calgary to design a new fuel depot for their new Waste Collection Truck Warehouse at The City of Calgary’s 68th Street S.E. Landfill site property. J+B will provide a complete stamped design package including all civil, structural, mechanical and electrical documents in compliance with all applicable building codes and municipal standards. The station will be design to service diesel and regular gasoline fuel needs. The station is being design as one raised island surrounded by a reinforced concrete slab with a 50,000 L diesel (North end), and 25, 000 L regular gasoline (middle of island) above ground fuel storage tanks. The station will have a maximum fuelling capacity at one time of; four (4) Diesel dispensers and two (2) regular gas dispensers. A kiosk will be located between the diesel and gasoline above ground tanks, to house the Fuel Focus, Veederoot and other electronics and control systems. A 1360 L bulk windshield washer fluid dispensing tank will be located at the North end of the island. The Station will also be designed with space for large vehicles to safely pull in and out for fuelling.

The station is also designed to accommodate double tanker fuelling trucks to further maximize the operational efficiency of the site.
