City of Toronto Facilities Management – Petroleum Fuelling Stations
Design, tendering and contract administration for new petroleum aboveground tank and dispenser fuelling stations at 301 Rockcliffe and 320 Bering. Electrical design component includes power supply and distribution, monitoring and control systems and CCTV.

City of Calgary, Alberta – Sheppard Landfill Fuel Storage Upgrade

A fuel facility located at Sheppard Landfill (11820 – 52nd Street SE) was upgraded from its 1 – 25,000litre underground tank to a 25,000litre above ground, Westeel, double-walled fuel tank c/w stair. The fuel was originally dispensed via a submersible pump and a twin hose dispenser and the transactions were recorded by a Fuel Focus computerized accounting system. The site also had an existing Veeder Root console which was retained for the new tank installation.

This project was phased in such a way as to limit the disruption to fueling operations, to accomplish this, a new island c/w steel island forms was constructed and the new tank installed c/w steel stair, Jersey barriers, ground rod and steel bollards. Operations were switched to the new system over a weekend and the existing facilities demolished.
