In 2017 J+B was contracted by AviUrban a division of Homes by Avi, to provide Mechanical and Plumbing design for three multi unit residential building in the North part of Calgary. The project is comprised by three 60 unit buildings located south of Crossiron Mills Mall in Northern Calgary. J+B participated in a collaborative design environment with design services being provided by consultants from several different design firms. J+B were also responsible for equipment selection and worked closely with the team to ensure an energy efficient design. The projects initial schedule was to design the buildings over several months. AviUrban was able to sell enough of the units quickly compressing the design schedule down to one month. All those involved in the project banded together to complete the project in a third the time as was initially envisioned.
