PARKLAND FUEL CORPORATION - PETROLEUM WAREHOUSE SHELVING DESIGN
LOCATION:
British Columbia
PROJECT DATES:
2014
J+B were engaged by Parkland Fuels Corporation to provide design services for two new Petroleum warehouses in British Columbia. The contract also includes obtaining all required permits and approvals ensuring compliance to all building codes required by the local community and the Province. Because of the type of product being stored, a detailed fire code compliance review was needed. In the process of gaining those approvals, it was discovered that Parkland’s internal material handling policies and protocols were not in compliance with the Province of British Columbia. In order to keep the project on schedule, J+B has undertaken to manage the development and approval of a Province wide Materials Handling Policy, and Spill response Plan for Parkland. At J+B we respond to our clients needs, keeping project on time and on budget.
